SIM Card for use in Germany

Can anyone offer advice on the best way to purchase a local SIM card, for use in a unlocked, BlackBerry Bold, while in Germany & Austria. I will be needing it the week after Easter and hope to be able to have data (email & Google Maps) availability, as well as calling to NA? Please move if wrong forum, thanks!

Take a look here How much is a european sim card exactly or scroll through the Germany section. I think there are some threads about this topic.

I recommend Blau http://www.blau.de

international text: 0.13 €
data 1 MB: 0.24 €
100 MB option for 30 days: 3.90 €
calls to Europe, US and Canada: 0.09 € plus 0.15 per call
domestic calls and texts: 0.09 €

You won't find anything cheaper than this.
And I think you can buy the sim-cards in FRA and MUC airport.

EZ,

Thanks fro the reply, sounds like the best info. possible. Naturally, a couple more questions. That 100 MB for the 3.90 seems super cheap? What sort of store in the Munich airport would this be sold from? Should be fine for a BB Bold 9000?

As this topic has nothing to do with M&M I'll move this thread to Travel Technology.

Have a nice day
