Hey gang - looks like Google Wave isn't getting much buzz after that great end of year video they did. What are your reactions to it?

I've applied for an invite but haven't gotten on yet, so if anyone still has one, PM me - I'd like to root around and see how it works.

My latest "wild hair" idea is a family collaboration/wiki kind of site that would begin to capture the collective knowledge of the family - everything from genealogy to history (like where we've all lived, what we've done, etc.) to the family "stories" (the radio station, custom cutters and the Wicked Witch, three examples that believe me, ONLY our family would understand!) to trivia. I see my idea as a knowledge management site for a family's knowledge. Would Google Wave be a platform for this, or should I stick to the more classic wiki apps?
