Check-In Suitcases

Does anyone have recommendations for a check-in suitcase? Hoping to find one that's not too big, and would be ideal for travelling to Japan or countries of the sort (cramped at times, don't want too big of a suitcase). I have a Solgaard currently, but the closet system wastes space on the sides.

I recommend anything trunk shaped from a reputable brand that works within your budget. I find the trunk shape handles the widest variety of loads and comfortably fits even in the smallest of car boots.

My trunk fits perfectly in a fiat 500 and the trunk of natural gas powered taxis without a hitch.

Good tip, makes sense since I tend to take taxis while travelling, I was looking at the Monos Trunk as well.
