Has anyone seen Rimowa Cabin plus wheel base with rivets?
 
one of my friend is selling me a used one thats few years old but noticed the bottom wheel base has rivets attaching it to the main body. i attached a picture for comparison. as far as i know current retail models at the stores do not have them. did older models have rivets? thanks for any feedback.​​​​​​​

Yes, look to many pre-2016 models to have wheel bases with rivets.

Manufacturing code on the RIMOWA luggage should reflect such.

Thanks for the info. Curious if there was some functional improvement reasons for the change or was it purely for look and style.
