Small backpack with trolley sleeve

Looking for a small quality back pack with a trolly sleeve and not having much luck.

It will just be used to carry a few things as personal item and then for a day pack at destinations so something on the smaller side the better. Professional look or computer sleeve not required or even really wanted.

Ikea has a small 12L backpack with trolly sleeve. It has a padded tablet slip but most backpacks with trolly pass-through will have a laptop/tablet sleeve these days.

Might be overkill for your needs, but I two months ago picked this up at Costco.com on clearance:

https://shop.highsierra.com/sitewide...html?rrec=true

It has a small backpack that unzips from the roller portion, and the backpack has a sleeve that alternatively fits over the trolley handles.

Of interest, the the whole thing (roller bag with zipped up/attached day pack) also can be worn as a backpack, although if not packed carefully, can be a bit top heavy in that configuration.

Unlikely to find one without a laptop or tablet sleeve in this day and age - most bags seem to have them as a matter of course. You should be able to find plenty without a separate laptop compartment with just a sleeve in the main compartment.

Does anyone know if the strap on Bellroy bags are trolley sleeve enabled? Specifically the Bellroy X MAAP Shift Backpack -- does that chest strap double as a trolley pass-thru? I've reached out to the company with no success.

Also know they're coming out with a new bag, the 'Transit Backpack' -- anyone know anything here?

No experience with it, but looking at design, it's apparent that it could be used as a trolley pass-through, but that it will not be snug in any way. If the shoulder straps are long enough, you could probably criss-cross them to serve as an ad hoc luggage strap - something I've seen many people do in the airport with mixed success.

Or you could get something like this:

Away Travel makes a nice one. I've got the smaller of the 2 and am very happy with it.

Aer and Tortuga both have day packs with a luggage pass through

Might be too large but I like the Tumi London Roll backpack. The roll part allows it to be a lot smaller but expandable when needed. The predecessor Luke Roll was discontinued and was easy to find on clearance but might be more difficult to pick one up now.

I was looking for the exact same thing as the OP. I found a Tumi packable travel backpack that fit the bill perfectly. It is heavy nylon, almost a canvas, light and strong, one main compartment and three front compartments. And a trolley sleeve/luggage passthrough. It is perfect for what I wanted. It looks like this but I didn’t know you could fold it up like that.
