Introducing the bag with the largest wheeks I own. G Ro

Initial impressions to follow. For some reason i cannot seem to add images tonight.

Initial Impressions:
Looks: Sharp. I stuck it in the closet with my Tumi stuff and couldn't pick out the G ro
Costs: $330 on sale. When you figure it comes with a $30.00 battery and $20.00 of locks that knocks it down to $280 if you are rationalizing.
Wheels: Two wheels that perform like a 4 wheel spinner when maneuvering but are stable like a 2 wheel when sitting.
Pockets: Organization galore. If you like organization, you will love this thing.
Room: Fits a suiter and it's 22 inch. That tells the story. Well not quite....having more pockets always means there is a compromise on interior room and this is no exception. Pick your poison.
Weight: On the heavy side. However, If you can't get it into the overhead i am sure the 50 year old lady at the gate can help you. :)
Packaging: "hassle free opening". Easiest things to open are always luggage it seems.
Cons: Won't stand by itself when completely empty. It falls backwards.
Luggage hook: Looks like a system very similar to luggageworks pilot luggage to me. Well the hook and loop part is the same, they do not have the added dual latch system.
"Smart luggage". You have outside access to usb ports that is about it. They use to have tracking but no longer. (Just throw a tile in it and your fine).
Exterior Laptop access: Genius, it swallows up my 13 inch spectre like it is a tablet.

If i can ever get pictures to work ill post some. They tell the story better than i can here.

I don't get how it rolls sideways with fixed wheels?

This one doesn't (it is their original model) -- their new one has the wheels on the long side and is a "pusher"

If there was a "perfect" bag it would have been invented. The big wheels are huge advantage for certain things, and "two" has it's merits, but spinners clearly have come to dominate the market for reasons that many continue to chose them and most have migrated to only offering four when they used to have two or both.

IMHO given my experience with bot two and spinners think of some adjustments which I could merge the features of several brands that strike my fancy, LOL

So luggage manufactures and startup dreamers you could see about nudging me to spring for something before my BR International Spinner wears out.

4 wheelers are just a no go for me.....least my goals are to look ridiculous chasing my luggage down a slope or ramp some where. Not to mention the infurating moments trying to get into my vehicle or even tie my shoe in a slopped parking lot because i cannot take my hand off my spinner without it trying to roll away. They also get where they are just as likely to flip over as they are to roll if the wheels in front encounter resistance or get a little stiff over time. I will say that this original G ro (as pointed out is not the new one) can spin in a perfect circle like a spinning top almost using only 2 fingers (empty of course)....can't even do that with my 4 wheel spinners.....

What i do find interesting about the new one (in the other thread) is that it rolls sideways which might make traversing the aisle actually feasible without coming off like a ham fisted peasant.

I've been eyeing these for awhile, still unsure if they're worth the investment. How has it treated you?

The carbon fiber version is now the same price as the regular one.
