Rimowa Bags with Zippers

I know there are a lot of Rimowa fans here so I want to see what you think. A few days ago, I purchased an Essential Sleeve bag. This was the first Rimowa I got other than the Topas. I did not notice that there are no hinges whatsoever and other than a tiny piece of material on the bottom the only thing holding the top and bottom of the bag together is the zipper. When I pick it up, either horizontally or vertically, I can see the two halves move and am afraid the bag will fall apart. This is very troubling especially with an expensive piece of luggage.

Am I worried for nothing? What is your experience?

I would not worry about the stitching between the polycarbonate frame and the slide fastener filamentary material (the teeth of the zipper).

The design of carry-on luggage typically includes planning factors of weight, not to exceed 40-50 lbs.

I would never load trollies past 80% of their capability, just to be on the safe side.

The typical airline carrier has an on-board weight limit of 20 lbs.

Most, if not all, airline carry-on designed luggage can hold 20 lbs.
