I just wash it on warm, regular dry. Pull out promptly when done. Looks like new.

just pulled my bluffworks blazer out of my rollaboard for this last leg and even my wife said it looked pretty good. Have never washed it, so what are the instructions, or I can look it up myself, but jet lag + lazy.
never mind- next flight delayed. machine wash 104 F, medium dry or hang to dry. Also if you are a vest person, going to somewhere a jacket for cool weather might work, i stumbled on to this and I love it. Interior zip pockets for security. My new favorite. but dont discount the bluffworks vest. don't have it yet but considering. https://www.exofficio.com/round-trip...543826305.html |

I love my Bluffworks blazer. Just to add to the below, after multiple machine wash and drys, it still looks great. |
Not entirely sure how to answer that. It's just a blazer. There is no insulation.

How is Bluffworks blazer in hot weather? Is it more of a 3 season cool weather jacket or 3 season warm weather jacket?

Usually fabric less than 250g/m is considered spring, summer, fall jacket. Fabric higher than 250g/m is considered fall, winter, spring jacket.
Is it fully lined inside or is it unlined or partially lined? what is lining material? Cupro, Viscose or Polyester? |
I encourage you to check out the Bluffworks site for those details. It's a blazer, so I wear it year round, with a top coat when it is cold outside.

I love the wash and wear aspect of it. So easy to take care of, beyond just the wrinkle free. I really like just not needing to worry about it. The pockets are amazing. And I think the look of it is great. I'll wear it with the matching pants for a nice suit look, or with jeans/chinos for a more casual look. And it all just works.

Well, forget the technical stuff, then. Clearly, you like it and find it comfortable enough to wear over other materials or the traditional blazers. What do you like about it besides the non-wrinkle aspect?

To endorse what PackIt is saying, I have a Bluffworks Blazer. It's got secure pockets, zippered pockets, velcro pockets...
I could drive over it with a bulldozer, shake it off, brush off the dirt... ... and it will still look like a million bucks when I'm wearing it into a clients office. I ADORE that thing. |
yes, its the best long haul blazer I have ever had. and it is not heavy, so ok for warmer weather.

I finally ordered the jacket AND the pants........ disappointing results, however. The darn jacket is too short in the body. It exposes about 2 inches of my arse. I'm not that tall, by the way. Judging by the way the models look on the website, I should have figured it out before ordering. Also the material is almost wrinkle free but I can't say it's good for Los Angeles warm weather. Air doesn't go through and too much fabric exists between your skin and outside air. Pants have problems too. The belt loops are too wide made for jean size belts. Dress belts are something 1 to 1 1/4 inch. Jean belts are like 1 1/2 inch. if I wear dress belts, it makes a large gap in the belt loops, which are quite thick and frumpy looking too. Terrible style. Also the back pockets look like it s a bit open all the time.
I had a $200 off coupon from Brooks Brothers and ordered this one. https://www.brooksbrothers.com/Regen...efault,pd.html hopsack fabric (wool) rarely wrinkles and is always breathable. Orvis has one too but the styling was a bit AARP'ish...https://www.orvis.com/p/travelers-hopsack-blazer/4907 I guess the washable nature of the fabric at Bluffworks is still the best quality. I just wish it was better cut. |
Your experience is surprising to me. Did you order the Long or Regular? If the Regular, that may be the answer. As far as material, works great for me in Southern California weather. The jacket is so lightweight, I’m somewhat surprised by the review. Never noticed an issue with belt loops or back pockets either. I’ve actually gotten complimented on the jacket by a business associate, who wanted to know where to get it :) Reality is clothing fits some and not others. It’s too bad it didn’t work out for you. The good thing is that their customer service, in my experience, has been top notch.
