wheeled garment bag: wrinkled suits

i think i had already ranted in the bast about my Briggs/Riley carry on 2 wheels garment bag. Apparently a great bag, and I read all the instructions on how to pack at best.
I started to use it again this year after initial disappointment.
Please see attached pic: is this the point of a garment bag? the suit (just ONE suit) was in a plastic film and neatly in its compartment.
Anyone has similar experience? please consider this was a 2 hours flight...https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3ecc3cbecd.jpg

how i carry my jackets is to fold it length wise along the spine (typically fold it INTO itself -- meaning flip inside out and insert 1 sleeve into the other), and then once more the other direction so that sleeves are folded at the elbow.

if the jacket doesnt have high linen content, and the isnt absolutely and utterly compressed in luggage, then it does not wrinkle. thats whether i put it in a suit bag or not; into carry-on or check-in; etc.

for your jacket to look like that it's got to have been mushed up (perhaps by other content) with lots of pressure applied to it

thanks. I also use the sleeve-in method, but only when not using the garment bag. And the result is better than with the garment bag, unfortunately.

As far as my jacket: I store the suit in the suit compartment, and put everything else outside this. It was a two days travel, so I only had a Tumi shirt folder/organizer with few shirts + one pair of casual pants which I laid over the suit compartments (perhaps I should have added it inside the suit compartment instead?). Nothing more, since ties, toiletries, socks, underp go into those two little bags into the suit compartment.
If the point is to have just the suit and carry everything else in a different bag, then i cant believe people buy this thing. For this reason i believe there is something i do wrong, because it's impossible a bag fails like this.
At the same time though, i think that if the bag folds the suit in two, obviously there must be a crease in the middle.
