Is this bag practical?
I was looking for all kind of bags and came across this duffel bag which as per the website says its long lasting.
https://highonleather.com/collection...ary-duffle-bag Purpose: I want something big which can be used for both (Sometimes carry on baggage and sometimes normal luggage). But not sure about duffel bags as a whole as I have used suitcases my whole life. Does it mess up the ironed clothes? Also, let me know which are you using right now? |
I'm moving this post to Travel Products where most of the luggage discussions take place.

I'd ask how much it weighs. You can certainly develop techniques for packing ironed clothes so they don't get wrinkled, but as lovely as leather is, the reason people have moved away from it for luggage is that it adds pounds to the weight of the bag.

Yes, I already ordered it as its not that heavy as I asked them on the mail. It will arrive in next 2-3 days so I will be able to give better review to this but I don't mind extra kg of weight in return of it lasting it longer. I will have a look and then see if I want to keep it or return it back as they said I can ship it back to get the refund. :)

nice looking piece, but i assume that you are buying it for looks.
leather is heavy and easily marked up, so no checking it in on a plane. At 24 inches I would think that it is too big for carry-on |
Another high quality leather bag of that size weighs roughly 3 kg. Don't discount the weight, unless you're a big strong guy.
