3 years and still like new
 
Cards stay in tight, but not too tight. That’s my experience w/ a Montblanc 6 card wallet. This one is closest to the model I picked up:

Nice leather, quite pretty, but kinda pricy. On the other hand, this is one of those things you literally use every day. After three years the cost is less than 30 cents/day.

hmm, I bought mine in the summer of 2017 and it doesn't do this. Hopefully they will help you out.
