Timbuk2 co-pilot (small) or Kirkland 22" two wheel as carry on?

I'm interested in any experiences first-hand carrying on either the Timbuk2 co-pilot (small) or Kirkland 22" two wheel as carry on on a Lufthansa flight. Both inter-continental and within Europe.

I think the Timbuk2 co-pilot (medium) Will not pass as an LH carry-on. Would welcome any data on that too.

These are the dimensions permitted by LH:

Dimensions for carry-on baggage: max. 55 x 40 x 23 cm, for foldable garment bags: max. 57 x 54 x 15 cm.

Weight limit is 8 kg per bag.

@sw1x - Thanks. I did look that up, but was looking for first-hand reports.
MODs - @totti or @oliver2002 - this thread might get more responses over on Travel Products, Could one of you please move this over there?
