Does anyone still use a smart phone belt holster?

In the 00's a smart phone in a belt holster was part of the accepted executive wardrobe. Somewhere along the line their use declined and now smart phones are carried in pockets. The last time I recall using a holster was 2011. What happened to them? Is it considered geeky or old fashioned to use a smart phone belt holster? Does anyone still use one?

They are still around but the phones became to big/bulky. I see more in Europe than in the US. Do not get north of the border during winter to know what is where you are.

this is more the "style" I see being used:
Amazon Amazon

I use one for my Motorola two-way pager and a separate one for my Palm Pilot.

Oh I highly doubt it. He is one of those people who looks like a tourist everyplace they go.

My husband (who does not wear suits for work) wears a holster for his phone most days. He does a lot of bending & moving & pockets are dangerous places to keep things (he also had an otter box case because he's hell on phones...but that was too bulky) Might be "outdated" but it's what works best for him for his daily life.....

I have always used a leather belt holster... and currently now with my Note 8. I love a leather belt holster because I run, exercise, am on the go and it protects the vulnerable phone from drops. Personally, I think a belt holster is very advantageous especially for a guy to use as it keeps the phone out of our hands and pockets. As for looking dorky... I couldn't care less at all! Nobody has ever said a word to me and if they did, I'd ignore them. Frankly when it comes to phones, and I've had the same cell number for 25 years... I'm into function rather than form.

They do look "dorky" as Climb14er said, and I have never used one, even back in the day.

But if I did, you'd probably find it resting on top of a VHS player in my apartment. LOL !!
