Modobag: ride-on carry-on luggage
Just stumbled across this:
It's a carry-on bag, but this one has an electric motor fitted and you can ride on it. The thing is currently being funded on KS, so will be interesting if they get successful. Unfortunatly only available in the US, but I'll find a way around that :) Here's an interview with the creators: http://wgnradio.com/2015/08/17/intro...ry-on-luggage/ I've not posted a link to the KS campaign for obvious reasons. You'll find it easy by googling. /M |
weight = 20 lbs.
Good luck with that. |

Good luck with that. There are some airports, where you really need something like this. The distances between gates in Frankfurt / Germany for example can be massive. Especially when you switch from an EU flight to an intercontinental one. /M |
Good luck with travelling with the battery also. I was behind a gentleman on Saturday who was in a wheelchair with a battery. It took 25 minutes for check in to be assured it was safe to travel on the flight.
Poor experience for the guy but I sensed this was a common problem for him. |

Poor experience for the guy but I sensed this was a common problem for him. Sure, even battery packs (for charging cellphones and other USB devices) can be hassle. I regularly travel with a couple of LiIon power cubes (15Ah, 12Ah, 7.5Ah). Haven't had any issues yet. /M |
