A bag for cables, chargers, etc
I am having a bit of a Goldilocks problem trying to find the perfect bag for all of my cables, chargers, etc.
I looked at the eBags pouches and while I can get everything into the large size one, everything has to be in a specific place or it won't close. Too small.
I also auditioned a Tom Bihn Snake Charmer and it is too big.
I am considering the Eagle Creek eCube in Medium, this guy:

It looks like the size is in the middle of the two. Are there other contenders I should be looking at? Thanks!

I've been using SFBags.com/Waterfield gear pouches as cable bags for the last 10 years or so and they've held up great. There are a few sizes available.

Been toying with ordering this one. Wish i could find it a little cheaper. Saw it in Skymall so maybe get a few miles with it as well.

I use an Eagle Creek Pack-It-Sack Small... before that I was using Delta Tumi Amenity Kit Pouch, but the addition of Koss KC75 or Motorola S305 headphones (depending on if I plan on working out or not) made the Tumi pouch too tight of a fit.

How much gadgets & accessories are you packing to travel with ?? We owned & used a variety of eBags and Eagle Creek packing cubes - eBag's small & medium cubes are big. I used to take more items on the road & they all fit into the slim packing cube (large/full size) - http://www.ebags.com/product/ebags/s...uctid=10153227 - that's the biggest that I've ever used for extended trip & family cruise vacation.
Otherwise, Eagle Creek's slim half cube is what I typically take along, and it's easily to slim into my Timbuk2 messenger bag and/or slim backpack, in addition to 22" MLC, etc. EC's Pack-It Sacs in S-M-L sizes might be worth checking out, it lies flat although I use one mainly for storing all the loose items - keeping it together going thru security/checkpoints, etc.

For day-to-day use, I like TADgear's OP1 admin pouch, and GORUCK's Wire Dopp looks quite good as well. If I need to carry plug adapters and/or battery packs, I use the Mega Admin Pouch from Zulu NG.

I have a cable wrap ("burrito" ) from Sierra Trading Post, but I don't use it often - you have to carry the right amount of gear and I don't seem to do that. However, I'm a bag junkie so I never get rid of anything - depending on the trip, I use a canvas zip makeup bag, an ebags or eagle creek organizer, or a lesportsac nylon zipper bag. Sometimes I just put stuff in my backpack or tote.
Since I don't like packing clothing in the eagle creek cubes I have, I find using them for cords, cables, and other "stuff" is a great use for me.

I use the eBags pouches here: http://www.ebags.com/product/ebags/p...ductid=1277386
They have pockets inside allowing to keep the cables and chargers organized.
I use a medium pouch with iPad and micro-USB retractable cables, Mophie battery, Monster 3 outlet/2 USB block, extra two USB charger, and earbuds.
The larger pouch holds the two laptop travel chargers.
