Will Tumi fit in overhead of crj 200?

I've searched this and other sites but I can't seem to find a definitive conclusion. I have a Tumi Alpha 2 Leather International Expandable 4 Wheel Carry-On that measures 22x14x9 (including wheels and handles) when not expanded. I won't need to use it expanded so am wondering if anyone has been able to fit this particular piece in the overhead bin of a crj 200? 700? 900?

The leather is very nice and I dread the thought of checking it plane side due to potential abuse issues. SkyWest is the regional that Delta is using on this route out of MSP. Has anyone had experiences with abuse of nice luggage by SkyWest? I realize this might depend on the ground crew, the day they're having, perhaps a Monday morning 12 oz flu issue, etc., but I'd be interested in any helpful thoughts and perspectives.

Perhaps place "FRAGILE" stickers on 2 sides if needing to check plane side?

Thanks in advance!

Flying CRJ200 like 2-4 times a year.. it might fit (given the 9") but I've seen smaller ones being forced to be checked plane side. Given the flights are always pretty much fully booked.
