(CDN) Travel Insurance (only 60 days) for family
Anyone have any experience with travel insurance for longer durations for a family? We are Canadians and will be out of the country for 60 days (Asia/Europe). Wondering if we can purchase separate emergency (fly family member home etc) in case of medical emergency.
We have checked our existing providers but it doesn't look like it's their specialty. Tx |
FWIW I get annual coverage through TD Meloche Monnex. Very affordable at under $150 if you have home or auto insurance with them. Covers up to 60 days as long as you're under 60.

Either RBC Insurance or Manulife offer very good family plan global emergency medical policies so check with your local travel agent.

CAA in Canada provides travel insurance.

IMO, Blue Cross. They have the best "value ratio" I have found.
