Need Briefcase/Laptop Bag - Req: Bottle Holder/Slim/Pockets/Carry on Strap

I'm really not picky - I swear, and I feel like this isn't a huge thing to ask for... but I want a new laptop bag to replace the stock Dell bag I've been hauling for a few years now.

Requirements:
  • Slim - I don't carry much more beyond laptop, accessories, day-to-day doodads and a Kindle
  • Water bottle holder - FOR THE LOVE, WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT TO FIND?! Yes, I know the cliche Tumi has this but is that my only option?
  • Strap for roll aboard handle - gotta keep it attached somehow.

I feel like those three requirements are asking the world - at least the water bottle part. I love the T-Techs but, again, no bottle holders.

Thanks!

Search is your friend ... lots of similar postings on this forum.

Try Tom Bihn, for starters.

I like Tom Bihn, but don't love it.

I searched... nothing jumps out.

I have this one in black, although I don't use much.

Never mind...it's not really slim.

I sympathize. I have been looking for almost the same thing as you for a long time. The only difference is that I need something that is a little wider as I often travel with multiple music scores and a couple of textbooks. It is amazing to me that more companies don't make a briefcase with a water bottle holder.

Here is one that I am considering. However, it is really expensive compared to others so either it is amazing quality or just overpriced:

It has everything you ask for except it is not really slim. It also expands if you do have more stuff.

Filson & True North - No rollaboard strap, that's a deal breaker, both great looking bags though.

Gura - Looks like it may have a strap but maybe overkill. On the short list though.

Right now I'm pretty honed in on the Victorinox Werks Professional Exec 15.

Elux-tl14-cf

I agree that this is an unmet need -- except for a free bag I received at a conference several years ago that will wear out soon, which is why I'm looking. Perhaps the Eco Style Black 15.6" LuxeTopLoad Case Model ELUX-TL14 at $60 is more to your style and pocketbook liking. Model ELUX-TL14 or ELUX-TL14-CF (checkpoint friendly)

augkor.. this bag looks like it fi the bill very nicely. Although its dimension is slightly bigger than that of the UA sizer, it seems malleable (from the picture and video) that it may fit after all. I am seriously considering it. Thanks for the tip.

The CPA is a bigger bag than the OP is looking for I think the Red Oxx Metro seems ideal.

the pocket on the right top (at 1:30 direction) is a water bottle/umbrella holder with waterproof lining and ventilation tap on the bottom. Why is it so hard to find?

or are you looking for a HUGE water bottle holder for say something like a 7 Eleven Big Gulp to perhaps climb Mount Everest? If it's a briefcase, I would think a narrow 14 ounce bottle would do just fine.
