Briggs & Riley Widebody 20: fits on an E90?

Hi all you Briggs & Riley enthusiasts: there are LOTS of threads on the Baseline 20 widebody (U121CXW): I researched it thoroughly and bought it (great looking bag), have not used it yet. BUT:

I was traveling last week on an E90 (Embraer 190),and it looks like it might not fit (a bummer): the E90 published bin dimensions are 24x16x10 (conventional bags fit sideways). The Baseline widebody published dimensions are 20x15.5x8, but as earlier noted in other threads, B&R doesn't really measure from the outside. I have measured the bag and at its widest (outside of wheel guards), it measures about 16.5". Has anyone tried fitting this on the E90? Does it fit?

Any first hand experience would be most welcome.

Love my B&R but my experience with this model is it does not fit underseat or in overhead bins on Air Canada E90's in Y.
