Kirkland 27" for $49.97

I picked up a 27" Kirkland Signature suitcase on clearance for $49.97 today. Seems to be well made, but even if it only lasts a year I'm $$ ahead.

I got the last one at my Costco so check out your local store if you're interested.

How much does that bag weigh empty? I'm really afraid of bags that are that large as they tend to be heavy and it is way too easy to go over 50 pounds.

In any case, thanks for posting as some folks may want this bag for car trips.

Mine weighs 15 pounds, empty. About average for a 27", I think.

That's exactly how much this one weighs empty. I'm taking it on its maiden voyage to PHX today.

Which Costco location did you purchase it from?

Does anyone know if any of these are left anywhere? I am trying to pick one up.

Thanks.

Saw a dusty beat up one with the product brochure still attached at the Spokane Costco on Hwy 2 a couple of weeks ago.

Generally though, these two wheelers are being replaced with the four wheels spinner variants. Looks the same just two more wheels and feels maybe a scosh lighter.

How much does that one weigh?

I hate heavy bags and strongly dislike giving up so much weight for the bag when I can only manage a bag of about 35 pounts on my own.

I thought it was strange that the big bag was $50 and the smaller rollaboard was $99. I'm still using my G2 rollaboard after 5 years.

I've had this bag for a few years now. The bag is very durable, but it definitely is very heavy. I always end up having to shift a few things around to stay under the 50 pound limit when I pack the bag completely full. Depending on what you're packing, it can be very easy to go over 50. I'm actually in the process of looking for a lighter replacement for this bag, as it kind of defeats the purpose of having a big bag if you have to worry about packing it to the brim.
