Not the best quality, but this sunset in Society Hill in Philadelphia was just divine!

Good morning, Philly!

I thought these flowers at the pool in the City of Dreams Manila looked quite nice - though, it was hard to catch them being still in the wind

Sorefoot, I am green with envy from the quality and variety of your photos. I'm always practicing, trying to improve my skills whenever I travel. What site do you use to host your images?

Thanks for the compliment! I'm afraid I've never published any of my photos online, partly because I never thought anyone would be interested Seeing the photos on this thread gave me the encouragement to give it a go.

I caught the photography bug at University, with B&W 35mm film and developing my own prints - the shot of Peterhouse (my college) was one my earliest snaps which I retook in later years when DSLRs were in and film was out.

@sorefoot...we have been to many of the same places. Your photos are beautiful...thanks for the memories of places I was lucky to visit & thanks for adding to my bucket list. And the kangaroo is awesome.
I'd kill to see whirling dervishes again.

bougainvillea
It's a very invasive vine in beautiful colors. I have them climbing all over my house.
