Images from Longji (Guangxi, China) Rice Terrace

These mountains have lots of cracks and caves inside. They hold rain water that enables these terrace fields to grow rice. An amazing place to hike! I was glad to be there years before they installed a gondola to bring people up/down!

This would not count as a "view from the sky," so I am posting it here. This is why I will miss the 747 when they stop flying them. Where else can I get this view?

Hi,
Thanks for that ElevatorEnthusiast. I am spending 2 days in Yokohama next weekend ( 1 night at the new Hilton) then 5 nights at the Conrad. Might take a detour to Yamashita park enroute to the Marine tower and the Hikawa Maru ocean liner/museum ( plus the winter illuminations)

Regards

TBS
