I posted the link to the entire gallery in the appropriate thread in B6-land, but for those who don't venture there, here's some of the aircraft I saw during the B6 T5 JFK tour:

Thai A340/DL B737:

China Air Cargo, Etihad A340 (probably my favorite shot to take, A340) and B6 E190:

AA AB6, UA 752 (I'd assume PS?) and B6x2:

As a hardcore planespotter, it gets to the point where you can ID a plane simply by its shape or profile.

As I haven't really given this much thought before (been planespotting for 30 years), I opened a few unlabeled pics and noticed I immediately look at the nose, engines and location of doors to get a fix on what type of plane I am looking at.

Ah, yes - the tried and true WEFT: Wings, Engines, Fuselage, Tail.

Nice shot. Is that the Collings Foundation's B-17G?

If so, I flew in that once. Strapped in on the floor for take-off, with a little bit of a pad for back and butt (legs stretched straight out in front of me), looking through the gaps in the plane at the runway until airborne.

Gives a whole new appreciation for coach... and really gives you an appreciation for the guys that flew it on missions.

I am sure this is not what the OP had in mind.
But this was what I "spotted" in the A&S Museum in DC.

Yes it was. Amazing that they flew this plane for 3 days straight. Almost as much air time as a Southwest Airlines' 737.

That was here in Kansas City a few months ago. I have some pics of it also. My grandfather flew one in WW2, and the old guy that was talking to everyone inside the plane, sat and talked to me for almost an hour, telling me everything that my grandfather did to fly it. We have some cool old pics of him standing outside on the wing, every time I see that pic it puts me back in my place really quick!

Okay, I wasn't as "up close and personal", but my JL744 at NRT is larger than your 343.

Yeah, but I got to take that photo en route from the FCT.
