Amazing! And very nostalgic for me.

Next time you (or anyone else) go, be sure to post in http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/commu...up-thread.html -- I'm sure the ANC FT crowd would love to find an excuse to gather for dinner.

Red face DC-6 vs DC-7

I stand corrected and I owe an apology to Wally Bird.
Of course the aircraft in question is a DC-6 (military C-118) and NOT a DC-7, which is readily differentiated by the three-bladed propellers.
I also learned that I know aircraft a lot less than I thought I did.
I'm blaming a "mind f**t", and I leave it at that.
Sorry for the confusion I caused.

None needed .

We're not all "rivet counters", thankfully.

Here's one of my personal favorites from way back in 2001: a British Airways 747-400 at SAN:

I loved the color scheme of BA then. Especially the tail.

Love the BA shot, that's one of my all time favorite liveries too, especially on the older 747s ^

Hey! I just saw on TV back in early 2010. I watch World's Most Dangerous Airports. We watched the show and this is only for 2-hour episode.

Three picture from Vancouver Harbour Water Airport during sunset; unfortunately it was too late to catch any of the birds flying, but it still turned out nicely.

Best regards.
