A once in a lifetime plane spotting in a location I had thought about but never had a reason to try, until now:

These were shot from an overlook on Mulholland that gave a great view of the Hollywood sign. Ended up being the perfect spot as we had two or three flyovers.

The remaining three space shuttles conducted landmark flyovers on their way to their final display locations. This past Friday, Endeavor (last of the three) made its final trip to Los Angeles where it will be placed on display at the Science Museum. It did flyovers at most of the major landmarks in Northern and Southern California before landing at LAX where it will remain for another couple of weeks before being transported to the museum.^

I saw this Delta 767-300 at DEN last Sunday. I think it was a one-off equipment substitution, but I'm still happy that Delta remembers that domestic widebody = cool beans:

Wow! It's so good to see DL is resuming domestic widebody again. Next time, if they deployed the entire 767-300 will come to PHX again.

All taken from within the terminal, so may be slightly blurry...

Time to kill in PHX

I had some time to kill in PHX. Nice spotting locations, but the variety has something to be desired.

briantoronto, I agree with you on both counts, though at least it beats what I've got here in RDU! The roof of the Terminal 4 parking garage is my favorite location to spot from...what's yours?

Well, T4 one level down from the roof is perfect—away from the sun! But T2 parking is great too. Too bad the top level is employee parking only now. Too hot to stand up there without a car for shade.
