Coming from Paro, Bhutan via Kolkata, this Airbus A319 from Druk Air – Royal Bhutan Airline is touching down on its inauguration flight to Singapore on 1 September 2012 as KB500.

A rare interesting plane seen at IAH! Seriously, I can never decide where is more boring an airport for spotting...IAH or DFW.

DFW. IAH at least you can shoot from the parking lots above the terminals.

True, though I was referring more to the quality of the aircraft.

DFW: Primarily AA. S80, 737, 757, 767, 777
IAH: Primarily UA. 737s, 757, 767, 777

Neither have many foreign carriers or any real presence by other US airlines.

IAH at least has QR, BA, SQ, LH, AF, AM, (probably just a couple of others), as well as petrol-charters. I'd like to see shots of those latter ones (does TAAG fly to IAH, or anything Sonangol-related?

Easy enough to get at IAH. Here is LH:

Awful for pics, but here are a couple:

Except for the tulip on the left, IAH is a sea of blandness.

Ah-ha but I could counter with DFW at least having AM, BA, EK, KE, KL, LH, QF and even Taca! See? It's a tough argument either way.
