Anyone use Instagram?
Anyone else use Instagram, and love it?
I'm an avid Instagrammer... I love photography, and I love travel, and Instagram has become my favourite social media platform for portraying and sharing my travel pics. (Tried some other apps, but Instagram remains my favourite... so far!)
I know there's some great photographers on Flyer Talk, just wondering if any use Instagram. Part of the fun of travelling for me has become documenting my travels, and uploading them to Instagram. Great hotel? Fab flight? Amazing trip somewhere? Instagram it! LOL It beats having loads of photos downloaded on hardrives on my computer that no ever looks at.
I use it now for checking out destinations and hotels, prior to going, and for documenting my travels (mostly around Asia). I'd love to know if any other frequent travellers use it, so that we can connect. I'm always looking out for inspiration for new hotels or destinations to go next...
I have 3 trips coming up - China in December, Tokyo in the New Year and Europe in April. Emirates/Air Asia are my airlines of choice, and Starwood hotels, as I'm an SPG Plat (Ambassador level - even though my Ambassador is useless).
I recently made a @postcard' for the SPG channel, entitled 'Japan for Foodies' I haven't seen it yet, but I think it's been rolled out in some hotels. So if anyone sees it, drop me a line!

I Instagram occasionally, but use Flickr and Facebook far more even for iPhone and iPad photos. One key reason is that I prefer Snapseed over Instagram for editing the mobile photos. Also, while I use the square format quite often, it is not suitable for everything.

big Insta fan here, in response to @Thalassa I use Snapseed as well and then send them to Instagram. I do agree though that the square format isnt ideal for many shots.

My girlfriends one. Mainly food at the moment from the blog but soon to be travel an hotels as we start a RTW trip in a few weeks

It's the only social media I use and sometimes I purposely post stuff to 'make fun of' or 'brag', as it seems like that's what most people like to do these days.
