US National Parks, Monuments & Forests: Post your photos here

Didn't find anything similar to this topic after a few searches, may I request everyone post your photos here pertaining to US National Parks, Monuments and Forests.

I will start with a couple of shots from Denali National Park, Alaska. (my favorite national park in the US so far, though I have not been to too many).

Where was that taken? I can't remember any vantage point that made it look like a hole like that. Or is it because of the snow?

I think somewhere around Bryce Point and Peek-A-Boo Trailhead. Part of this may be the perspective since I was hugging the fence to keep people out of my shots. And it may also be the snow but it was perhaps only a few feet deep.

It's just every memory I have of it is of it being a canyon--open at one end. Your shot looks more like a crater. Admittedly, it's been some years since I've been there.

I think that shot might have been taken from NEAR the Sunset Point. Below is my shot from Sunset Point, at different vantage, of course.

The above assumption was derived from my phone's geoptag data.

Great shot David, winter in Bryce looks fantastic!

Oh, now I see what's happening!

In your shot you can clearly see the terrain drops off at the right edge of the picture--which is my memory of Bryce. However, in the snow shot it doesn't seem to drop off, which is what was throwing me. I think it's a combination of the snow hiding the terrain and that tree at the right of the frame. I've never been there in winter.
