Uluru - sedimentary, not volcanic, but still a big rock.

I missed Uluru when i was in australia, is it really that great in real life? its on the list for my nenxt trip though

It's impressive on its own, but (to me, others might disagree) it has as much to do with the overall environment as anything else. It's hard to overestimate the scale of the "red centre."
