Inside a glacier. Could be any one of hundreds.

By the way, you just outed your last name by posting the pic. Are you sure you really want to do that? A few people are annoyed with you.

YMMV

Then why did you delete the photo?

Maybe there is a glacier enthusiast here and I don't know if they would say all glaciers look the same.

No prob. Just save the image and upload it to google images. It will give you other locations on the 'net where you can find the photo. Usually somewhere in there will have some info on it.

This is a great photo.

Just be mindful of copyrights when downloading these images.

Didn't download it. It popped up on my computer screensaver automatically. Was curious where it was so took a picture of it with my phone

No problem just didn't want you getting into trouble like my friend did, posting images without naming the source.

You should be fine though it wasn't for a commercial purpose.

It's real, I've seen the same thing in real life - long in the past. I think the reason it looks strange or unreal to you is that what you are seeing is a cell phone picture of an image that is displayed on a computer screen. Rather like trying to take a picture of something you see on a television screen. The resolutions are so mismatched that it never looks good.
