Question Experiences with thephotographerslife.com

My wife just got a mailing from thephotographerslife.com about a Thailand Exploration and Photography Expedition in November, guided and with photography instruction by Daniel Nahabedian (whose photos on canvas-of-light.com give him at least some credibility). It sounds great, but a good copywriter can make almost anything sound great. I thought I'd try to find out more before agreeing to part with a good deal of change. I was wondering: have any FTers had any experience with either this outfit or this instructor?

(I searched this forum and the Thailand forum and came up empty-handed; searched the Web and found nothing useful there beyond Nahabedian's site.)
