Photo Software
Wasnt sure whether to put this thread in here or in Travel Technology. I am looking for relatively inexpensive software that i can put a photo with some text captions below it. ie:

Description of photo here with several lines of text.
Im not a big photo guy so im sure its a simple request but not sure what the easiest and most economical route to take. I want something that looks fairly professional but not incredibly difficult to learn.
Thanks in advance.

I heard that GIMP is pretty good, and it is free for download. Learning curve might be a little steep though.
Adobe Photoshop Elelment is an inexpensive beginner photo editing app. It will certainly handle text on image.

You might want to try Google Picasa. It is free and handles most everyday picture editing needs with flying colours. It is also rather easy to use.
See www.google.com/picasa
