Thank you.

This was taken with a Canon Elan IIe film camera so I don't have the EXIF data. Based on the displacement, I'd guess it was somewhere between 8-10 minutes.

As I suspected. I (and every other Alaskan) knows it well.

We even held a FlyerTalk event there last Spring, though we missed the northern lights.

Next time you're around these parts, be sure to say hi!

Very cool thread, there are some great shots here. ^

A few from my most recent trip to Hawaii.

Only 5 seconds:

20 seconds (and later at night):

10 seconds - it's the lighted jacuzzi that's looking toward the ocean:

We were very lucky. We'd stayed there for three nights and had scheduled the trip up the hills for aurora watching for the second night and this was the only night of the three that had any activity - and quite the show it turned out to be, indeed!

A couple more

Here's a couple I've taken -- I don't remember the exact duration, probably around 20-30 seconds each:

Wow, amazing photos. I haven't got a great digital camera, but I've gotta try some long exposure photos of my own. Thanks for sharing.
