Cyprus Airways cats in cabin
Did anybody fly cats from Cyprus? I have 2 of them and I want them to be with me however they are around 2kg over the limit. Do they actually weigh the pets?? I don't want to put them in cargo hold even though it's a 1 hour 45min flight. Should I risk it?

This will not work, I`m afraid.
Cyprus Airways accepts only one pet per carrier and one carrier per passenger. See here:
Kindly note that only one pet per passenger is allowed. and One adult passenger may transport no more than one container with animal(s).
You'd need to book the second cat on someone else's ticket.Either fly with a companion or look for someone who'd be willing for booking the second cat on their ticket.

If you have that in writing (print out the email), then I`d just risk it. If it was a phone agent, follow-up on this with an email (or, if you're on FB, try posting your question on the Cyprus Airways page)
Alas, I fear that the agent may have given you incorrect information, as Cyprus Airways does allow two animals per crate when they're transported in the cargo hold, but only one when transported in the cabin.
Cyprus Airways has their own staff at Larnaca, and the people I know engaging in rescue work in Cyprus speak well of them.
