Flying with Bearded Dragon
Does anyone know how I would fly with a bearded dragon? I need to get it from TX to VA (back to my ex) and am hitting walls on how to do that. I thought maybe flying with it there would be a good option, but I can't find info on airline web pages (just info about dogs and cats). Thank you!

I looked at the article. Most of these airlines do not fly from Point A to Point B domestically in the US (I tried to book in AC and it said I couldn't book with origin and destination both in the US). I just chatted with American and they said only dogs and cats in cabin and not allowed in cargo. Also reached out to Delta (not in the list) but also a no go since they said not in cabin or cargo. So...I'm not sure how to fly with the dragon since everyone is shutting down even the cargo idea.

If your ex wants it back, tell him to solve the problem? Or come retrieve it by car?

Yeah, that would be ideal...I'm doubtful that would happen since I had to solve the problem of him moving out initially. But can always try...though I'm thinking it might be going to a rescue soon.

Please, just don't fly it. I looked after a neighbor's bearded dragon once. My friend didn't warn me about their poop as it doesn't poop all that often apparently so she figured it wouldn't happen in those two days. But it did. Now I am not squeamish in the least, have had dogs, cats and horses all my life and have picked up the most foul smelling poop, even once in my bare hand out of necessity, but nothing compared to this thing. OMG, the stench! Between non-stop retching while trying to pick it up and outright puking once I did, I cursed my friend to hell and back. I suspect it is the live maggots/worms I had to feed the damn thing. Chances are it wouldn't happen on a short flight but please, just don't.
