Suggestion if you're staying in pet friendly hotels

Our pets are indoor pets that have always regularly been treated with the drops on the back of their neck and such. Until recently they had never had fleas or ear mites except technically when they were first born. That is until we relocated to a new country and stayed in many different pet friendly hotels along the way. Thankfully they still haven't had to worry about fleas, but they did unfortunately both catch a nasty ear mite infection from one of the hotels. I think they're finally cured (we visit the vet again tomorrow to find out for sure), but wanted to suggest that you talk with your vet about possibly doing preventive treatment when you know you're going to be staying at a place that allows pets.
