KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Southeast Asia's leading budget airline said Tuesday it will give away 100,000 plane tickets as part of a regional marketing campaign to woo tourists to Thailand after that nation's political turmoil.

According to the news story in the OP, this deal was scheduled to end several days back so no use really looking for the AirAsia deal unless it has somehow been extended.

Sorry, I can't go to BKK. Because it will be wait for the future if we can go to Thailand.

Such a story on an airline offer - would such a story belong in the respective airline forum - Other Asian / Australian / Pacific FFPs?

I just mention it because anyone interested should visit that forum as a matter of course, since one or more airlines could match a sale and this information belongs and is relevant in THAT forum, rather than polluting NewsStand with off-topic 'sales news' which might perfectly belong in an FFP forum.
