FTers aren't playing in the same world? What's the point of it then?
Complete domination of MultiWorlds. Yeah, the World 4 alliance may be lacking a bit in that department, but we are doing alright.

In seriousness, I have enjoyed having more hub options this game without stepping on other FTers toes. (Although I inadvertantly did in LAS in World 4 to someone who came in late from another world...)

"Compete against hundreds/thousands of other players vying for passenger dollars."

Actually, there's no competition. You can only have competition if someone can lose. It is basically impossible to go bankrupt in that game. They don't want to make it hard as people would stop playing. Also, your ability to grow your airline is more or less a linear relationship in terms of how much time you can spend doing it.

Because we want to play in different time zones?

To answer the question the re-born FT Alliance (now known as AGA) in World 6 is comfortably ahead... we even had Europacific wanting to join

Just a bump for someone who might be interested in joining.

We've also moved the FT Alliance forum to http://ftairlinemogul.2ksite.com/index.php. Please join using your FT handle.

We will also start up an FT-only private world when it becomes implemented. More details when it's actually released.

I gave up awhile ago. I sold all my equipment at 50%, then used the cash to buy more, then sold that at 50%.

I'm playing, again. I have a $6bil line in world 9, "The Wings of Man." It's much more fun now that I am not just adjusting fares every time I log in.

Honestly, I loved AM - BUT it took up WAY too much of my free time (and a good amount of my work time). I know it got really bad when I had an Excel file that reached over 1MB of data about routes, aircraft, etc.

Have fun!

Anyone still doing this? Thinking about testing the waters again.
