An Austrian tourist with dyed red hair, a black cloak, earrings and facial piercings was stoned by Turks who thought he was a Satanist.

Apparently the guy was visiting his father in Edremit and was taken into protective custody by the Police until the crowd dispersed. A policespokesman said that the Austrian couldn't understand why the people were scared of him !

Anybody else's dress sense ever get them into trouble ?

He dresses and disfigures himself to shock people, and then acts surprised when they are shocked. And in a place where people aren't used to being shocked for the sake of it. hm.

Someone gave me a red "I killed laura palmer" t shirt to wear to a twin peaks party once, and I stopped by a super market without thinking about what I was wearing. Oh the reactions. I'm so sorry.
