USA Today: New DOT rule paves the way for airlines to ban ESAs on flights

Good news on the ESA Front.

“The days of Noah’s Ark in the air are hopefully coming to an end,”
-Sara Nelson, President of the Association of Flight Attendants

The wheels of change turn slowly but they do turn.

It still allows "psychiatric" service dogs. (I'd like one, thanks.) What's to prevent that from being abused? "I need the dog because of my hurt feelings." Are the rules defined enough that only licensed and reputable doctors get to say what is a service animal?
