Post NY Times: Breaking Down the Frequent Flier Mile Programs

New York Times - Sunday Travel Section - Last Page - 17 June

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/12/t...ines-tips.html

An article appears comparing different travel programs, featuring United, Jet Blue, Southwest, American, Delta, and Alaska. I think it sums the various USA programs nicely, a good intro for those looking to earn some miles on their summer holiday. It delves deeper for those who travel more, and gives various examples of mileage redemptions and benefits of status on each airline. An enjoyable read.

The accompanying cartoon features an airplane cabin, with a coach passenger jumping through various hoops to get into a first class lounger chair.

The final barrier to first class? A mote with plenty of crocodiles!

A Great read for those with the Sunday Times.

Thanks Spanish. Interesting article. However, he doesn't even touch on award availability for seats and upgrades.
