Forbes: Embraer Rolls Out New EJet Amid Major Strategy Shift By U.S. Airlines
Embraer, the third-largest commercial aircraft manufacturer in the world, rolls out its new E190-E2 jet on Thursday. The EJet is a passenger-friendly, 2×2 configuration with large overhead bins favored by passengers who don’t like the cramped, regional jets previously made by Embraer—the ERJ-145—and by Bombardier, the CRJ Series. |
Embraer are definitley good aircraft but with Bombardier not making much headway with it's new C series and the entry of Russian and Chinese aircraft into the market it's going to be a tough sector (mind you plenty of new aircraft needed as the Russian jets keep crashing).

And Mitsubishi MRJ is making progress as well.
Doesn't Embraer already have a lot of E2 orders? |

All due respect a bit of an exaggeration.
