A man who lives in his grandmother's spare room in England bought a Boeing 747 and exported it to Iran, according to cables leaked by WikiLeaks and published in the UK's Daily Telegraph.

Iranian airlines operate a large number of western built aircraft. Most of these airplanes were sold to Iran prior to the Revolution. We put all our spare parts people through extensive training on how to spot suspicious orders that could be coming from Iran.

One strange bit of tourism to Iran is that its the last place you can fly on a commercial 707 flight.
