2 yo in business class - so many questions!

we will be traveling on JAL business class (788 aircraft). The seats are flat but will be angled.

1) how do you make sure the kiddo doesn’t fall out of seat during sleep? Use seat belt? We will be bringing a cheap car seat for the car portions but I feel like she would sleep better on the seat
2) any tips to make the bed flat versus angled? Pillows and blankets? She’s 3” tall already!
3) jal offers kids meals - anyone have experience with the kid menu options? I can’t find much online and their website just provides “examples”. I can’t decide if regular adult meal is the way to go or the kid meal.

Thank you in advance!

1. I would make sure that the kid has the window seat or a seat between you and your partner if you are three travelling together. That way you will better be able to control the kid. Also I would probably not sleep very well my self anyway, rather rest and check regularly. Seat belts should be used any time during sleep anyway, fastened outside the blankets so that the crew can see it. This is for safety no matter if there is a child or an adult sleeping.

3. I would go for the kids meal, always safer to find something they want and like. And in addition bring something else for the kid to snack on, some bread, bisquits etc.
