can someone other than driver get the miles
wife is renting car, can I get the NW miles credited to my account or do they have to go to her account...

I rented from Thrifty in PHL and got miles when my mother put the rental under her name. From other posts, my understanding is they don't really care. Just give the frequent flyer number at check-in (pay the extra $2.00 fee for miles), and the miles will be credited.
