price drop over the last 2 weeks ?

i booked a car for next week in Canada

2 weeks ago for a 9-day rental the price (including a promo) was over CAD 500
last week, i checked and changed my reservation because the price was 472
today, just out of curiosity, i checked again and a new price was 431 !!


same car category, same dates, with additional GPS

like hotel rooms, prices are supposed to go up as we are getting close to the rental day, not go down

is it normal ?

do you think there will be another drop ???

over the past 3 weeks, i saved around CAD $100 by checking on the rates on a weekly basis !!!

It's all about supply and demand.

i know, but like hotel rooms and flight seats, car rentals usually go up as we get closer to the rental day, not the contrary

that's why i'm surprised
