I am not sure when they introduced the fast tracks on departure but recently it was very annoying. There were maybe 5-7 counters for fast track (not the TG F/C area) and all completely empty while the normal area was a real busy zoo

- sure enough I was in the normal area, but I didn't quite understand why they would not open a few of the empty fast track lines to the less fortunate crowd

I managed to get a handfull of the red, First Class Fast Track passes. I've got a few upcoming overseas trips so will report on both departure and arrival experiences.

Last September, I was flying home BKK-NRT-LAX in F on JL, the JAL agent that issued my boarding pass left her post and escorted me through the diplomatic line at the airport's immigration point to the JL Lounge. This was late afternoon on Sunday and the lines were packed with departing passengers. ^ ^ ^

When I arrived however at BKK 5 weeks earlier in August, also on JL LAX-NRT-BKK (business class as there was no F on that flight), there was no escort or special lines. It was around 11 PM with hardly anyone at the immigration point and I cleared it in less than 3 minutes. Actor Matt Dillon was also flying business on the same flight. He bothered, on his own, to go through the immigration diplomatic line. It took him longer than me to clear it due to the attention (photo taking, autograph, etc.) he was getting by the officers there.

I have a couple of arrival F Class passes, as they regularly forget to collect them.

Do the passes have dates on them as others have reported?

Mine are not dated. There is a field in which a date and flight can be written into, but lazy staff ... Mine are also stamped with "LH German Airlines".

When we checked in for our outbound on April 11 the check-in was taking quite a long time in the C line. Turns out the SQ agents were filling in the Fast Track forms for each person. Main immigration lines were easily 30 minutes long but we spent all of 5 minutes waiting for fast track area to process.

On the return there was nobody in line and we pocketed the fast track slips for use at a later time.

It's really nice when they're only stamped with the airline and contain no other info.

I was able to use my First Class Immigration passes both leaving & entering in the past 2 weeks. They appear to be originally issued as a Thailand Elite product.

In both cases I was the only person in the area, while the regular lines had the usual line ups.

We arrived on CX in J at begining of month and departed two weeks ago -- nothing given out. Arrival was fine, as no one in front of us. But bit of a wait for departure.

Any word on NW/DL passing out the passes? A bunch of flights land right around midnight, and I'd like to glide through Immigration after spending 24 hours in the air.
