Airplane Model store at MBK?
 

I've heard there is a good airplane model store (selling Herpa products and such) at MBK, but can't find any information on the specific location. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Have you tried asking the Thai distributor [email protected]?

There is definitely such a shop in MBK. It is on the 2nd or 3rd floor amongst all those little shops on the main road side of the building. A few minutes wandering around will find it.

Showroom 1: 2A17, 2nd Floor of MBK Center near Tokyu Department Store and just opposite Chester Grill Restuarant.
Showroom 2: 106 Thaniya Plaza BTS Wing.

Ah, 2nd Floor in MBK, I couldn't quite remember.

I just came from Central World where I saw a shop called "Toy Studio" which had hundreds of these models on display. The store is located on the 4th floor just outside the Isetan department store, so to the far right if standing on Ratchadamri Road facing Central World.

Yes, the store in Central World is another branch of the same group as at MBK. The Thaniya Plaza store may be downsizing or getting phased out. It definitely has the smallest selection of the three. Although the branch at Central World may be physically better, I think the MBK branch still has the best selection. Lots of Herpa, Dragon Wings, Gemini Jets, etc. etc. etc. 1:500, 1:400, 1:200, and other scales.

They have a loyalty program. Once you spend 5000 baht, you get a 10% discount on future purchases.

And I'm a proud owner of one of those discount cards. :D
