Phuket + Surrounding Islands
 

Thought some knowledgable travellers maybe able to assist.

I will be visiting Phuket in November, I have 2x Nights already booked in a "Basic" hotel to conduct sightseeing etc.

I am looking for 2x nights in Paradise, I have looked the The Racha and possibly the new Anantara Koh Yao Yai.

Any other recommendations? or what would be your preferred?

Koh Yao Yai and Koh Yao Noi are both great Islands to relax. Anantara Koh Yao Yai is a very nice resort. The Islands are quite easy to reach from Phuket.

for sightseeing go to Phuket old town, the most picturesque old city in Thailand with its old sino-portuegese style houses

In case you go to Koh Yao Noi, I can recommend the You can rent a private villa on an almost private beach. It is on a very quiet part of the Island.
