Traveling to BKK with Medication

I regularly take medication prescribed by a doctor, include lorazepam, hydromorphone, and fentanyl patch. Will I have any issues going through customs or do I just walk through like I do in any other country?

I am no medical professional, so cannot answer in detail (as I have no clue what these medications do ), but I would offer some generic advice though. If I were in your shoes, I would try to see if it is possible to research whether the medication in question is controlled/illegal in Thailand first and foremost. Secondly, just to be on the safe side, I would get a letter from the prescribing doctor in English outlining what it is and what it is for.

Unless there are some properties of the medication which are illegal in Thailand, I would think you would have no issues.

You should look at official guidance to make sure you don't have any issue. This is one area which has significant risk so I wouldn't rely on anonymous advice from an internet forum. Do the research and come to your own decision.

This is from the Thai embassy in USA : https://thaiembdc.org/bring-medication-into-thailand/

Seems from their information that a permit is required for some prescription medication types, and you must declare when entering.

Here is the Thai FDA web page with links to the lists of restricted narcotic and psychotropic drugs. https://permitfortraveler.fda.moph.g...t_permit_main/
Category 3 and 4 psychotropic can be carried into Thailand for personal use with a doctor’s letter. No permit necessary.
